Writers Coaching Program

I won’t guarantee I will make you a writer – BUT I WILL help you through the process, starting with your original ideas, show you how to build and tighten the draft, and polish it for the printer.

I can show you how to make the process a lot less intimidating, daunting, overwhelming, and a whole lot more approachable, and even fun!

There is no charge for the first session and no further commitments required.

 At the end of the introductory session, if you would like to continue, here is a breakdown for how we would work together:

    – One-on-one Sessions are 1/2 hour via Zoom, FaceTime, recorded video, or phone call with one follow up over email.  

    – $45 per session; by appointment only.

    – To receive the best support and opportunity to meet your goals, I recommend 1 session per week as part of a minimum three month commitment. 

If you then decide to publish your creation, I have a full-service publishing entity.  I work regularly with experienced editors, graphic designers, formatters, book binders and public relations/marketers.  You might decide to publish under your own imprint – as I have.   I could help you do that, too!

So, who am I to offer this coaching program for writers?

I’m Marty Herman, a published writer, teacher, and coach.  I’ve written almost a dozen books currently in print.  Feel free to check them out on my website Bookstore.

I taught creative writing classes at UConn, Waterbury, as part of the OLLI program, and look forward to returning in the future.
